There is NO fee for using our services. All our costs are passed along to the companies we work with, and there is absolutely no fees or hidden costs to you, the candidate, for using our services. This creates a unique opportunity for you to explore our many job openings (some not advertised anywhere else in the world) risk free!
If I contact you am I under obligation to work with you or only take positions you find me?
Absolutely not. There is no contract to sign with us ever and no obligation to accept only (or at all) the positions we find and arrange for you to interview at. All we ask is that if you choose to contact us you give us a few days, maybe even a week, to allow us to show you the tremendous results we can deliver to you. Contact us, then sit back and relax and let your perfect career come to YOU!
Why should I work with a recruiter?
As we said above, there is no fee associated with working with Search One (and most other recruiters) and thus, we do not get paid unless you accept the position we set you up with an interview for. As a result we will negotiate the best possible package from salary to benefits to work atmosphere and anything else you request. It is to our benefit for you to be happy and to accept the position we find for you or else we are working for free. Why not try our services: we are going to work hard to find you a great position with the best pay rate and benefits possible and there is never a fee to you!
Fine, working with a recruiter makes sense, but I have gotten tons of calls & e-mails- why Search One?
First of all, “honesty, integrity, ethics” is more than just a slogan to us. These are the word we live by. If we literally have no opportunities for you, we will be the first person to tell you so, we won’t lead you along inflating your hopes. Also, if we have gotten you an interview and you have been offered a job and we sincerely think it is not a good fit for you- again, we will tell you. But more importantly Search One has over 31 years in the healthcare career placement industry and has a affiliate network and regional & national contracts few can rival- 99% of the time we can find our candidates the perfect job.
What exactly do recruiters and, specifically Search One, DO exactly?
While we can’t speak for other recruiters the first step Search One takes is to actively LISTEN to our candidates. We want to know what you truly want from where you want to live, what setting you want to work in, how much you want to make, and all the other particulars that can be the difference from having a job to having a job you love- a career. We gather all your information including an up-to-date resume and coupled with our knowledge of your wants and needs start contacting our affiliates and companies to try and match you up with the perfect position. We keep you up-to-date with the progress and shortly after contacting us we will arrange phone interviews with the facilities that have a need for your service and that we feel would be a good compliment to your requests. After the phone interview we will follow-up with both you and the company, we can answer any of your questions and see if we should move-on to a face to face interview or if perhaps things would be best served moving onto another company. After a face to face interview we again follow-up and if it is merited from both sides move to the job offer stage. At this point we go over all aspects of the offer from salary to benefits to work hours and days and make sure you fully understand everything you are being offered and all that your duties will entail. During the offer stage we are also your advocate in the negotiation process. We are more then happy to “go to bat” for you with the company to get all that you deserve but we also consider it our obligation to tell you when your salary requests or other demands are unreasonable or not possible in the market you are looking at.
